About the Role
The Regional Sales Operations Director plays a key role in driving sales productivity and revenue execution across North America. This role is responsible for owning the sales pipeline and forecast, supporting deal progression, managing performance, and managing territory design and quota setting. As a key partner to sales leadership, this individual ensures operational discipline, process consistency, and urgency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, CRM management, and sales performance analysis, with a deep understanding of best practices in sales strategy execution. This individual will work closely with regional sales leadership, finance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Forecast Management: Own pipeline accuracy and forecasting cadence; provide visibility, analysis, and guidance to sales leadership.
- Deal Execution Support: Partner with sales, finance, and pricing operations to accelerate deals—leveraging CPQ, pricing templates, and deal desk processes to remove friction.
- Sales Analytics & Insights: Analyze sales performance data, pipeline health, conversion rates, and productivity metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Deliver insights that guide strategic decision-making and drive accountability.
- Territory Planning & Quota Setting: Lead annual territory design and quota planning in partnership with regional sales leaders and global Revenue Ops.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global Pricing Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to support go-to-market alignment and execution.
- Performance Management: Leverage dashboards and reports that monitor key sales KPIs; develop ad hoc analyses for leadership as needed.
- Sales Enablement & Training: Work with sales leadership to deliver training programs, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, finance, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies and drive operational efficiencies.
- Incentive & Compensation Planning: territory planning and quota setting to drive performance.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to help refine go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or revenue operations in a B2B environment, preferably in telematics, IoT, SaaS, or fleet management.
- Proven experience in sales analytics, forecasting, and CRM optimization (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Strong background in performance management, process improvement and sales enablement strategies.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Experience managing sales compensation plans, incentive structures, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%) to support regional sales teams and leadership
